Entertainment is not just about the dance.
I'm sure you've watched Soul Train or some snippets of it before. Elements of hiphop, feel good funk, soulful instrumentals are all part of what makes a performance complete. I'm not sure what I told the music artistes about bboy music but it all made sense during the actual performance. I'm talking about live music, stuff we're only beginning to see in Singapore. The showcase won first place by the way, and I'd like to give credit to all who made it possible. Then comes talk of making a 'popsidized' version of the song. I won't be surprised if it all comes out remastered and erm, stuff. Probably won't happen but i'm sure that the essence of performance won't be lost if we went commercial. It all starts from somewhere. By the way, the set I did was a freestyle. Point is, you are free to interpret music in any way you want through dance. Just make sure that you have the fundamentals right or well, sometimes lyrics were meant for something else. Aite put some beats on man, cos this ain't no practise.Peace and best of luck for Battle Of The Year!

Skilletski's take on footage of events
Hotly debated on the headlines recently is the issue of whether fans should be allowed to take videos of concerts and events. The artistes in question are in a position to preserve their public image as they are doing what they do professionally. AZNBBOY understands this and work closely with the artistes themselves to ensure that they receive the best possible coverage. After all, our job is not to take videos of events, our job is to make you guys look good. On and off camera. So we take these into consideration when clips are posted up, when you guys can request for it to be posted up or taken down. The problem with featured footage on AZNBBOY is that we receive too many requests to be featured on the site, although there is limited time to edit every clip frame by frame.
